I want trees, fruit trees..........

With the purchase of a house, I wanted to add some trees to the front and back yards. It's really sad to see that poor little lemon tree all lonely and sad in the back and nothing, save for some yellowish/green grass growing in the front.

What to I envy, what do I want? Like I said, more trees, more plants. This is my sister's home. My mother has done most of the planting since my sister does not have the time to do it since she works 5-6 days a week, just like me, but I am more like 6-7 days.
